Fokana Convention 2018

About Us

FOKANA (Federation of Kerala Associations in North America)  was found in the year 1983. With more than 34 years of history, promoting the culture of Kerala and standing for the causes of NRIs; Fokana has become a household name all over the world. The innumerable activities of Fokana has made it a unique organization with so many firsts to it’s credit. Fokana is the largest and oldest umbrella organization in the world with more than 60 Associations under its wing which are spread all over North America including Canada. It has a wide reach of more than 500,000 Keralites across the globe. Fokana’s proud project “ BHASHAKKORU DOLLAR” has been recognizing the talents and achievement of students who have contributed significantly to Malayalam literature.  Fokana has and still continues it’s tradition of helping the needy in Kerala through various charity events. Currently Fokana is involved in a project called “A house per district” which will provide 14 homes to 14 needy people in 14 districts. Also we are extending help in the computerization of Schools in under privileged areas. Fokana  will  be  holding  its  2016-18  biennial  convention  in  Philadelphia  at  Valley  Forge  Convention  Center  from  July  5  to  July  8,  2018.  We  are  expecting  approximately  3000  people  to  attend  the  function.  It  will  be  a  great  opportunity to businesses to show case their products and reach to thousands of Keralites through various channels of communication. We look forward to your participation and kind sponsorship for the program.
