Fokana Women's Forum
Our Vision

Educate • Empower • Advocate • Elevate

The FOKANA Women’s Forum is committed to creating opportunities that help women learn, lead, achieve financial independence, build successful careers and businesses, improve their health and well-being, and inspire the next generation of leaders. Guided by the vision of Educate • Empower • Advocate • Elevate, the Women’s Forum strives to strengthen the role of women within FOKANA while preserving our rich cultural heritage and promoting service, leadership, lifelong learning, and community engagement.

The 2024–2026 term marked a period of growth, innovation, and meaningful impact for the Women’s Forum. Following its inauguration in November 2024, the Forum embarked on a journey of empowering women through educational, professional, cultural, and charitable initiatives that reached women across North America and Kerala.

Building a Strong Leadership Network

One of the Women’s Forum’s earliest accomplishments was establishing a strong grassroots leadership structure across FOKANA. Regional Women’s Forum leadership teams were formed throughout North America, including Florida, Texas, Chicago–Detroit, New Jersey, Canada, New York Upstate, Pennsylvania, Washington DC,  New England and several other regions. This expanding leadership network strengthened collaboration, encouraged greater participation, and enabled women to organize meaningful regional and national initiatives while building a vibrant community of women leaders.
